Whether it’s the local live music, the national recording artists, karaoke, a game of pool, games, a special event or just time with friends on the patio you’ll experience why Good Time Charlie’s has become one of the best places for entertainment in the Dayton area! We're a drinking place with a fun problem! We love ya and cheers to ya!
Good Time Charlie’s was established in 1984 by Charles Lindamood. Good Time Charlie’s was a successful neighborhood bar in a time when there were many bars in Miamisburg. In 2002 a tragic fire burnt Good Time Charlie’s to the ground. In 2003 Good Time Charlie’s was rebuilt to the basic form you see today. In 2008, new owners, Cory & Mary Lindamood and Chris & Christi Simpson began to transition Good Time Charlie’s (GTC) from the “old” neighborhood bar into an entertainment venue and a vital asset to the downtown Miamisburg scene. Slowly but surely things began to happen… karaoke was upgraded and expanded, live music was booked on the weekends, drink specials were implemented, the patio area was added and voila the “new” GTC was born. Over time, with a focus on customer service and the support of many great people (you all know who you are) GTC has become one the best entertainment values in the Dayton area but more importantly a unique and vital part of the vibrant downtown Miamsiburg community. GTC’s unique features that include the long and narrow interior, high ceiling, the whiskey barrel bar (the bartenders and bands love to dance on it), the balcony band stand with stairs to the bar top and the comfortable outside patio are just some of the things that help GTC stand out in the bar/club crowd. GTC also hosts some of the best local bands in the area with a mixture of country and classic rock. We’ve also been blessed to be able to host some amazing national recording artist such as David Allan Coe, McGuffey Lane, Flynnville Train, Jason Sturgeon, Eric Lee Beddingfield and Cody McCarver. Bottom line, we know you have choices for your entertainment dollars… that’s why we will continue to work hard to make GTC one of the best values and one of the best entertainment venues in the Dayton area. Whether it’s drinks with friends, karaoke, a night of live music, a game of pool or just relaxing on the patio, GTC has a little something for everyone. Thanks for checking out our web site and we’ll see ya soon at GTC (be careful… we hug around here!)... Cory & Mary Lindamood… Chris Simpson
